Former President Bill Clinton will try to lock down the
union vote for his wife — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton —
during the annual Labor Day festivities in Detroit.
The parade Monday morning is expected to draw prominent
Michigan democrats and thousands of union workers. The festivities will begin
at 9 a.m. and will start at Michigan and Trumbull in Corktown and then proceed
to Cobo Center.
The parade almost always features a big political name as
the headliner. Recent headliners include President Obama and Vice President
Biden. Although some were not too keen on the republican nominee's visit.
